Linksys’ EA8300 Max-Stream AC2200 MU-MIMO Smart Wi-Fi Router will turbocharge your wireless network. With MU-MIMO or multiple users, multiple-input, and multiple output technology, the EA8300 router gives four independent data streams to your wireless devices, making it ideal for a wide range of devices. A strong, dependable wireless connection for tablets, smartphones, laptops, and other devices is possible when MU-MIMO and Beamforming technologies are combined. Beamforming eliminates interference by focussing the wireless signal.
The four Gigabit Ethernet ports allow you to connect devices like media players, game consoles, and more to the network through Ethernet. Additionally, there is a USB 3.0 port for connecting USB-compatible external storage devices, making it easier to share files across multiple computers on your network. Using the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi app, available for both iOS and Android smartphones, you can remotely control and monitor your network whenever and wherever you are.

- Firstly, Connect the Ethernet cable to your broadband modem and to an external switch or router.
- Power on the PE routers by pressing and holding down the power button for 3 seconds then release it. The status light will turn blue, indicating that they are ready to start up.
- In case you have more than one device in your home network connected wirelessly, first turn off all other wireless devices by going into their respective wireless settings, unchecking the box that says “Enable Wireless” and pressing the physical switch to turn off their power.
- On each PE router, go into its main menu (usually by hitting the left arrow icon in your browser window), select “System Settings”, and under “Wireless,” make sure that only the device you want to use (in this example, our broadband modem) enabled. You can also password protect your wireless network if desired.
