Before you start, ensure that you’ve done the following:
1. Recognize the router/access point’s wireless settings which are:
a) Wireless network name (SSID)
b) Wireless channel
c) And a password or security/network key
2. Reset the range extender – You have to press and hold the Reset button located at the top panel of the range extender for five (5) seconds or until the LED starts flickering to restore to its factory default settings.
Step 1:
Firstly, connect your computer to the Ethernet port of your range extender using an Ethernet cable.
Step 2:
Secondly, plug your range extender into the power outlet and ensure the LED lights are stable.
Step 3:
Then, Launch an internet browser and enter your router’s IP Address or “192.168.1.1” in the Address bar
NOTE: If your computer has defined a default start-up web page on your browser, the dialog box asking for a username and password will automatically display.
Step 4:
And, you will be asking for a username and password. Leave the User Name blank and enter “admin” in the Password field and then, click Log In.
Step 5:
Then, click Wireless > Basic Wireless Settings.

After that, Set the radio button to Manualthen enter your router’s Network Name (SSID).

Moreover, On the Wireless Security section, choose the security settings that match your router’s configuration and enter your Passphrase or WEP Key then click save settings.
Step 8:
Furthermore, unplug the power cables of the router and the range extender just for 30seconds. Plugin the router first. Hold up for all the lights to be stable then plug in the range extender.
