1. Firstly you need to launch any web browser from your device to log in to the web-based setup page of your range extender.
Note:  Here we have two methods to log in:
i) First is type the link in the address bar “http://extender.linksys.com” and click Enter.
ii) Second you can enter the IP address of the range extender.​

CAUTION: In case your range extender is not configured yet, and then its default IP address will be 192.168.1.1. In case your range extender is configured already. Then you need to check the IP address in your router’s DHCP Client table.

iii) Then in the left navigation go to and click on Device info.
iv) After that go to the Network address and click Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.
v) Further, under Network Address, check the Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.
 
Note: Every device in the network connected to a wireless router must have the same first three (3) octets as the Default Gateway, too. 

vi) Here in the left navigation go to Status and click WLAN Statistics.

vii) Finally, you need to check the Network Name field must be the same as your wireless network. After that, check the Status must be Associated.
